Viewing Scopus Pre-Defined Links

The View Scopus Pre-defined Links page displays the following information:

Note	The View Scopus Pre-Defined Links page only displays settings for the current level. For example If you are on the Consortium level, the displayed setting will be for a Consortium.

Default Setting Overview

Default level settings display in brackets and either enable or disable a Scopus function or option.

For example

A Consortium Administrator may enable a Scopus function, but for a certain Account in the Consortium, the function might not be desirable. The Admin Tool allows you to disable the Scopus function for an Account (or Group) even though the Consortium default has the function enabled.

Account/Group Settings

Allow Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery Service	Displays the settings for the way Scopus documents are transferred among users. Inherited Default Displays the Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery Service of the Consortium or Account level. The default value determines whether or not to allow Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery Service of Scopus documents. Account Setting/Group Setting This setting determines whether or not to use or override the Inherited Default value for Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery Service of Scopus documents. Available settings are: Inherited Default Uses the default value as arranged at a higher Administrator level, as in Consortium to Account and Group, or Account to Group. Yes Account/Group level setting allowing Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery. No Account/Group level setting preventing Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery.
Link to EV Compendex Document	Allows Scopus and Embase subscribers to view a corresponding record in Embase. Inherited Default Displays the Consortium or Account level setting for linking to Engineering Village Compendex documents. The default value determines whether or not to for link to Engineering Village Compendex documents. Account Settings/Group Settings This setting determines whether or not to use or override the Inherited Default value for linking to Engineering Village Compendex documents. Available settings are: Inherited Default Uses the default value as arranged at a higher Administrator level, as in Consortium to Account and Group, or Account to Group. Yes Account/Group level setting allowing Engineering Village Compendex documents. No Account/Group level setting preventing Engineering Village Compendex documents.
Link to Embase	Allows Scopus and Embase subscribers to view a corresponding record in Embase. Inherited Default Displays the Consortium or Account level setting allow Scopus and Embase subscribers to view a corresponding record in Embase. Account Setting/Group Setting This setting determines whether or not to use or override the Inherited Default value for linking to Embase documents. Available settings are: Inherited Default Uses the default value as arranged at a higher Administrator level, as in Consortium to Account and Group, or Account to Group. Yes Account/Group level setting allowing Embase documents. No Account/Group level setting preventing Embase documents.
