Search Options Editing Scopus Search Options

The Edit Scopus Search Options page allows you to edit default settings for conducting a Scopus search.

To Edit Your Scopus Search Options

  1. In Search Options, complete the following:

    Enable Patent
    Tab in Search Results

    Enable Patent Tab in Search Results allows you to display the Patents tab on Scopus Search Results pages.

    To edit your Patent Tab in Search Results settings, complete the following:

    Inherited Default

    Inherited Default displays the Patent Tab in Search Results setting at the Consortium or Account level.

    This field is view only.

    Account Setting/Group Setting

    Depending upon your Administrator access, you can use or override the Inherited Default value.

    Available settings are:

    Use Inherited DefaultUses the default value as arranged at a higher Administrator level, as in Consortium to Account and Group, or Account to Group.
    YesDisplays the Patents tab in Scopus Search Results pages.
    NoPrevents the Patents tab from displaying in Scopus Search Results pages.
  2. In Search Options, click one of the following:
    Overview of Account SettingsClick this link to access the Scopus Search Options- Overview of Consortium/Account Settings page.
    NoteThis button only displays if you are a Consortium Administrator.
    Overview of Group SettingsClick this link to access the Scopus Search Options- Overview of Group Settings page.
    NoteThis button only displays if you are a Consortium or Account Administrator.
    SaveClick this button to save your Search Options and to open the View Search Options page.
    CancelClick this button to cancel your Search Options settings and return you to the Account Scopus Information or Group Scopus Information page.
