The Trusted Partners page allows you to view and manage partners.

Each trusted partner for a group is displayed on the page, providing the following information:

Field/Function Definition
Category Name Trusted partners are divided on the page by their respective category.

Available categories are:

  • Electronic Holdings
  • Federated Search
  • Research Performance Tracking
  • Other
Application Name This is the name of a trusted partner.

Institutional Token The institutional token is a system-generated numerical sequence linking a trusted partner to a single group and is used for authentication purposes.
Date Begin and End This is the beginning and ending date for the trusted partnership.
Create Click to generate a new token.

Remove Click to delete a token.

To generate a new token for a trusted partner

  1. From the Trusted Partners page, find the Application Name (trusted partner) to be updated.
  2. Click Create Token. The Admin Tool will generate a new Institutional Token for the Application.
  3. If necessary, enter a Begin and End Date for the trusted partnership.
  4. Click Save. The View Trusted Partner page opens.
  5. From the View Trusted Partner page, click Done. The Group General Information page opens.

To remove a token for a trusted partner

Note Once an Institutional Token is removed from an Application and Save is clicked, the Trusted Partnership between the Application and Group will be disconnected.
  1. From the Trusted Partners page, find the Application Name (trusted partner) to be updated.
  2. Click Remove Token.
  3. Click Save. The View Trusted Partner page opens.
  4. From the View Trusted Partner page, click Done. The Group General Information page opens.
