Searching Journal and Book Entitlements

The ScienceDirect Journal/Book Entitlements Search page allows you to search and receive a list of journal or book packages in which a specific journal or book title is included in your institution's subscription.

To Conduct a Journal/Book Entitlements Search

1. In Search All Titles, enter a character string which best reflects the title of the publication.

   Enter the full journal or book title or a portion of the title.

   OR

   Enter the full or partial International Standard Serial Number (ISSN), or International Book Serial Number (ISBN).

2. From Search Type, select one of the following:
   • ISBN
   • ISSN
   • Title
3. From Content Type, select one of the following:
   • All
   • Book
   • Book Series
   • Handbook Series
   • Journal
   • Reference Work
4. From Sort By, select one of the following:
   • Content Type
   • Publisher
   • Title
5. Click Search. The results will display at the bottom of the page.

   OR

   Use Browse All Titles to locate the title of the publication. This will create a results list based on the selected letter.

Results

When you have completed a search for a journal or book entitlement for ScienceDirect, the following information will display:

Publication Title	Displays the name of the individual publication in alphabetical order.
Publisher	Displays the name of the title's publisher.
Content Type	Displays one of the following Content Types: Book Book Series Handbook Series Journal Reference Work
ISBN/ISSN	Displays the ISBN or ISSN assigned to the title.
