The ScienceDirect Purchase Options- Overview of Group Settings lists the Group Purchase Option settings for all Groups in your Account.

Note This page is unavailable for Group Administrators.
System Default Displays default purchase options as set by the Elsevier Admin Tool.
Account Settings Displays purchase options for the Account.
Group Settings Displays purchase options for the Group.
Prevent Transactional
Access

This field displays one of the following settings:

Inherited Default The default value as set at a higher level, such as the default set by Elsevier at the Product level, or by an Administrator at the Consortium level, or (if looking at a Group) the Account level.
Set for Group Select one of the following for the Group.
Inherited DefaultUse the default value as arranged at a higher Administrator level, as in Consortium to Account and Group, or Account to Group.
YesPrevent an Group from purchasing ScienceDirect content.
NoAllow a Group to purchase ScienceDirect content.
Allow Anonymous
Transactional Access

This field displays one of the following settings:

Inherited Default The default value as set at a higher level, such as the default set by Elsevier at the Product level, or by an Administrator at the Consortium level, or (if looking at a Group) the Account level.
Set for Group Select one of the following for the Group.
Inherited DefaultUse the default value as arranged at a higher Administrator level, as in Consortium to Account and Group, or Account to Group.
YesAllow an anonymous User to purchase ScienceDirect content.
NoPrevent an anonymous User from purchasing ScienceDirect content.
Allow Cost Code for
Transactional Access

This field displays one of the following settings:

Inherited Default The default value as set at a higher level, such as the default set by Elsevier at the Product level, or by an Administrator at the Consortium level, or (if looking at a Group) the Account level.
Set for Group Select one of the following for the Group.
Inherited DefaultUse the default value as arranged at a higher Administrator level, as in Consortium to Account and Group, or Account to Group.
YesPrevents a Group User from transactional access to ScienceDirect content unless a cost code is entered.
NoAllows a Group User to access ScienceDirect content through transactional access without having to enter a cost code.
