Administrator- Searching User Profiles

The Administrator- Search User Profiles allows you to search for current Admin Tool User Profiles based upon Administrator level.

To Locate a User

1. Required: You must enter at least one character in one of the following fields to execute a User Profile search.

   Notes

   You can use upper and/or lower case characters in your search criteria. You can use the wildcard (or universal) character * in your search.

    

   User Name	The identification name associated with the User Profile.
   Given (First) Name	The user's first name associated with the User Profile.
   Family (Last) Name	The user's last name associated with the User Profile.
   Email Address	The email address associated with the User Profile.

2. Optional: If you want to restrict your User Profile search, select an option from one of the following lists:

   By Administrator Privileges: This is a list of all available Administrator privileges of which you can limit your User Profile Search.

   Administrator Privileges:

   All Administrators	Includes All Administrators in the Admin Tool for your User Profile search.
   Consortium	Limits your User Profile search to be based upon User Profiles that have Consortium level Administrator privileges.
   Account	Limits your User Profile search to be based upon User Profiles that have Account level Administrator privileges.
   Group	Limits your User Profile search to be based upon User Profiles that have Group level Administrator privileges.
   No Administrator	Limits your User Profile search to be based upon User Profiles that have no Administrator privileges.
   All Levels of Access	Includes User Profiles in the Admin Tool for your User Profile search.

   By Group: This is a list of all Groups in the Account which are listed in alphabetical order.

   By Membership Type: Lists all Membership Types available in the Admin Tool. You can select one of the Membership Types to narrow your Administrator Profile search.

   Membership Types:

   Activation Code Created:	Limits your Administrator Profile search to User Profiles that were created by an activation code.
   Admin Tool Created:	Limits your Administrator Profile search to User Profiles that were created in the Admin Tool.
   Customer Service Created:	Limits your Administrator Profile search to User Profiles that were created by a regional Customer Support office.
   Online Registered:	Limits your Administrator Profile search to User Profiles that have registered online.
   Registration ID:	Limits your Administrator Profile search to User Profiles that have registered identification.
   Shibboleth:	Limits your User Profile search to are Shibboleth enabled.

   Show Inactive Users: Will limit your User Profile search to be based upon only inactive users.

3. Click one of the following:

   Click Search to initiate your User Profile search.

   Click View All Administrators to open the View Administrators List page.

   Click View All Users to view a list of all users in the Account or Group.

Additional Features

From a New User Profile	Click this link to access the Create User Profile- Administrator page.
Run New Search	Click this link to exit your User Profile Search Results page and to return to the Search, View, and Modify User Profiles- Search page.
View All Administrators	Click this link to exit your User Profile Search Results page and access the View Administrators List page.
