Viewing ScienceDirect External Linking Settings- Link Resolver (Image Based Linking) Viewing ScienceDirect External Linking Settings- Link Resolver (Image Based Linking)The View ScienceDirect External Linking Settings- Link Resolver page displays the following information:
Link Resolver Name The name of the link resolver. Enabled Determines whether or not the link is available for use in ScienceDirect. Link Resolver Base URL The URL address for the link.
Image Base URL The URL address for the image that is to be used for the link resolver. Alt Text for Image The alternate text for the link resolver image. Alternate text displays when a mouse cursor is moved over an image.
This field will display one of the following:
Always Display Link The link resolver always displays. Specify Link Display Dates The link will display during the dates arranged in the following date range.
Begin The starting date for the link resolver. The link resolver will not display until this date. End The ending date for the link resolver. The link resolver will not display past this date.
Edit Click this button to edit your ScienceDirect External Linking Settings- Link Resolver. The Edit ScienceDirect External Linking Settings- Link Resolver page will display.
Note This button is unavailable for Group Administrators. Done Click this button to complete your ScienceDirect External Linking Settings- Link Resolver settings and return to the Account ScienceDirect Information page.
